Our History
The Litchfield Housing Trust, Inc. (LHT)
is comprised of 18 volunteers
who serve as the Board of Trustees.
Our Trustees serve on several LHT committees and remain dedicated
to our mission.
Together with their Executive Director,
LHT has built 8 beautiful and highly
energy efficient homes which were ready for occupancy in 2023.

Since 1989, the Litchfield Housing Trust, Inc. has provided affordable housing to families at 80% AMI or under.
Our affordable housing units are scattered throughout Litchfield, Bantam, and Northfield.
The Gagarin Place development added
8 single-family homes for a total of
55 units in 2023:
51 Single Family Homes (Ownership) &
4 Rental Ap
